I watched your YouTube! I could not figure out how to make the Toyota handle locks work with the Locking Bearclaws.

I replaced the crap door handles and latches on my truck.
They work wonderfully and the doors don't fall open any more.
The handles are locking Trimark brand, the handles just flop loose when the doors are locked. They can be locked from the outside, but not the inside.

Tacoma speedometer can build you a ratio adapter, just tell them how far off it is and the can calculate the correct adapter.
I used to build them in the truck shop I worked in, long ago out of business!

As I remember, most generator output voltage regulators have a roll off feature that drops the voltage if the frequency drops below 55HZ.
This is to give the engine governor time to react to the increased load, that it see's as a drop in ferquency.
Seems to me that was in the Basler regulator...
Didn't the spec for 15/40 change in the last few years, I thought the zinc content was greatly reduced?

My daughter says that HUMvees are not considered street legal in Washington state and the titles are issued as off road only.
She said that you can do the necessary alterations (whatever those may be), it then has to be inspected by the State Patrol to certify it's new street legal status...

Just a note of caution, when I purchased my LMTV here in Washington (2 months ago) my licensing agent told me it is big problem to title and register HMVEE's now. I don't know if it is true but you do not want to find out after the fact.

You may have to add the throttle switch to the new engine, it may or may not already be installed. It turns the jake on when you lift your foot off the throttle. It is polarity sensitive, hooking it up backwards will blow up the diode.
