Bridge deck repair I've run a jackhammer 4-5 hrs a night for the past 12 yrs. my body is beat rotten but u still love these trucks enough to make the climb into the drivers seat.
What seats are you running
Calling all seat gurus!!!
seat 101 is in session!!!
Ok let's talk about seats.
I'm looking for the right set of seats for my M-813. It is regular cab now but next winter it will get crew cabed.
l want to here who is running what for seats?

I drove my 1970 M-35a2 bobber with 14.00 20's on mraps for 18 mouth, it was the only thing I owned. No heat wasn't to bad it was the lack of defrost that was a little ruff in the New England winters. But then again I drove a 1967 CJ-5 with only a bikini top straight thru the winter as because a...
Blast protection on the undercarage is usually achieved with a V- hull
design. Just like most good ballistic concepts, it's all about the angle of deflection.
No way to really make any great angular design changes to a 5 ton. Or could you???🤔
but man do u love the way they look with the small...
I had a set of steel mrap rims? I got them from Oshkosh equipment. And I used peashooters adapter plate to put them on my bobbed deuce. Sad to hear that he is on longer making adapters. His prices where great and the quality was top notch.
The yellow paint is what has me wondering.
I remember a conversation I had with a guy a few years that I bought a M-35a2 off.
He was telling me about a truck scraper in Revere Ma. that had a set of axles like yours that came out of a truck that was an airport runway fire truck.
I remember...
The tranny in my one ton gmc plow truck hates the cold. I was told by a friend to set the e- brake and warm the truck up in nutural. Apparently this circulates the tranny fluid and allows it to flow thru the radiator. It warms the tranny. It works great on my plow truck. Might work on your...
Drivers door? Is that where it will tell me if it has a locker? Or what branch of service it was in?
I was just thinking being a bridge truck it was more then likely army Corp of engineers or sea bees. Or am I way off. I have nothing to base that off, just guessing.
thanks guys, learning is...
Where In the cab is the tag? Anybody got pics?
I did read some old posts about the USMC trucks being the ones that have lockers. Any way to tell if this is a USMC truck?
Is there any type of plank or markings on an axle that has a differencal locker in it? Or is there any thing on the truck that will tell you?
I found a M-809 style bridge truck in a bone yard and was wondering if the axles might have lockers.
once again just looking for wisdom🤓
So I now have a game plan after taking in all of this info, and using what I could find locally at a good price.
I now own 7 HEMTT rims. I plan on doing a hub flip in the rear and HEMTT's all around.
Does this sound logical.
anybody see anything that I'm missing here.
The TM section on this board is pretty good.
I would call one of the venders on the board.
Ive had good luck with Boyce but I'm sure eastern or Memphis would have those parts aswell.
