Re: swapping 24 to 12 by just me » Sat Dec 19, 2015 8:28 pm
I have no build thread, but the info was put on the facebook page along with some pics.
Basically, when I got my truck, there was not an inch of good...
ok
i have a m43b1 that has had a 318 installed the PO said he wired the lights to work
my issue is i want all the gauges ,horn, heater and stuff to work as well
but all that is 24v
how do i make it so everything but the engine (i guess) is 24v?
any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated!
that was the selling point to me.
i have done a soup to nuts rebuild of a 63 willys jeep (18 months and a bucket of money)
a complete 1927 chevy hotrod build from the ground up (two years and way too much money)
and i swore the next vehicle i got was gonna be a turn key driver
i dont mine...
am thinking of going to tractor supply and buying a sheet of 4x8 foot 1 inch thick rubber mat they put in horse stalls and lining the floor, tranny hump with it.
those sheets probably weigh 100 lbs each.
if we add mass
it will dampen sound
i havent taken possession of this vehicle yet because of the blizzards we keep getting.
i aint willing to go for a 2000 mile round trip on ice ;)
when i do though
i will go over everything to make sure it is shipshape
install a coolant heater
and possibly an aftermarket cab heater
5 new tires...
i had some selectro hubs on the willys and liked em fine. i found a set for $175 online and i think they said they fit a d300? does that make sense?
ill hafta go back and look again
