I have a powerplant trailer with two 003a’s. All parts seem to be there except for the internals in the switch box. I cannot find any info for the box or any for sale. Any help would be appreciated
Ok great thanks Ray. I disassembled 8 nasty/stubborn/plugged 003 injectors and cleaned them. They are all set to about 1800 psi and spraying a mist.
I also just popped out the two fan side injectors on my first 003. It ran fine once warmed up but smoked white on startup for a minute or two...
I need around 20 of the 147-0043 gaskets. The most reasonable price I have found is $4 per at equipment parts sales in PA. Are there any other sources out there?
Well I have great news...my last 003 that was stuck from rust in the cylinder is free.. I took out the injectors and sprayed in knocker loose. Had a 2 week soak. I just popped off the heads this afternoon and filled the cylinders with atf . Then put a 3" hole saw upside down on top of the piston...
I understand. I’m in no hurry. I’m getting my ducks in a row. I have injectors soaking in seafoam until I get back in a week. It will be no fun watching everyone snowmobiling while I hang out with these healing ribs still:cry::mad::(
I would like to clean and pop test my injectors on these 002/003 generators. I have quite a few and sending them out may get expensive. What pop tester would work?
Update: I have my 2-002’s and 1-003 running great. I welded new bottoms on the tanks and am going to paint all 3. I installed digital gauges from an old member JimC since my CT was bad. Had to also replace the VR, that I purchased from @kloppk. Now on to the last 2 003’s that were seized. I...
