I'm glad a happy medium was reached. I think 6 months is plenty of time to calm the concerns of any user.
Maybe it should be a "perk" of paid membership....with non paying users getting 1 day, a week, whatever....just a thought.
When I broached the subject of content ownership, I did so...
What this new policy tells me is that our posts once posted after 24hrs no longer belong to us. Our intellectual property becomes the property of the website.
You might want to update the "forum rules" and terms of service. Unless I missed it, ownership of content is not addressed in either...
Resurrecting this old thread for clarification...I see members suggest turning down main fuel adjustment when bypassing the fdc and leaving the droop screw alone. The document posted above suggests turning UP the main fuel and decreasing the fuel via the droop.
So which is it? I have a truck...
Yikes! I can see why Vinny put a snorkel on his M1009.
I wont be able to make the event, hope you all have a good time. The weather should be great all weekend.
You only need to keep the master switch (right one) off when the truck is not in use. There is a relay next to the starter relay for the BO lights in the ambulance body. When the light switch is in the ON position this relay stays energized and will drain your batteries. Leave the switch off...

There is a link to the one I use. I bought mine at Northern Tool.
Sounds like gummy varnish on the fuel rod/shutoff/gov assembly in the side of the pump. I had a similar problem and cleaned it up by running some 50/50 unleaded and diesel.
The flight line signal sticker taped to the dash makes me think it had something to do with an air strip at one point. Other than that, I don't know any history, It came from Ft Jackson. They have had several late model trucks recently and the bulk had no data plates.
If you find anything on...
