    Correct puller for damper

The adapter needed is M16 x 1.5. Follow this permalink to a post I made a while back with links to two known kits that can be purchased online. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/cucv/68392-harmonic-balancer-questions.html#post825028

    Fender removal

Speaking of fenders, what do you guys use for a gasket between the cab and the fender on the one spot where they use one? When I replaced mine, I undercoated both sides and let that cure. Then I just bolted it up. Good move or bad? I presume the the material is vinyl or canvas originally and is...

    M1010 - No more DUVAC!!

Wow, those new Sure Power units look cool. I think your wires are undersized given the 100 amp potential that the DUVAC never had.

    SECM NSN difference

I was right, per the TM 9-4940-562-13: "The Type I, NSN 2320-01-209-8823, is a self contained maintenance shop set composed of a basic shop set, power take-off, and alternator that will be used by units which will identify and provide their peculiar tool loads to the shop set. The Type II, NSN...

    SECM NSN difference

24 is designated "ENG" and the 25 is designated "ORD". Other than that, the description is the same so I'd guess the difference is what tools and supplies they are outfitted with.

Need part ident and repair mat.

Does anyone have any recommendations for sourcing the drain tube? Any part numbers or manufacturers preferred? I've found several different Gates hoses that could work, such as: GATES RUBBER COMPANY HYDR 4657-2344 16MEGATECH 250XREEL GAT 4657-2344 Seeing as pressure should be minimal I think...

    Tyndall AFB, FL - recovery

Please follow Phil's advice for hooking up the air & airpack to allow braking in the towed truck. I had a recent run in myself where doing so would have saved me a lot of time and money. Safety first!

    Losing Prime

I'll vote lift pump or filter base. Start with the filter base and go from there!

For a private party sale, the price is about right. Looks like there is a cargo cover in there.

    Tyndall AFB, FL - recovery
