The last few paint jobs I did involved a HVLP gun and solid green out of Rapco gallons, I then use the Rapco rattle cans to lay down the camo patterns in black, then brown, and then green again to fix over spray mainly from the black.
Once, I had a soft top come apart about 700 miles into a 900 mile trip. Long trips in a deuce let you become "one" with the vehicle. Good times and good memories. Its in those rare moments of clarity the ole girl will tell you her name....I was a little off my rocker at the end of that trip. A...
You should be fine with just the 24v TOP alternator and everything should work as long as your duvac is working.
Edit :
** You should not have to rewire anything ** Just remove the bottom alt and wires for bottom alt. If your duvac is working, it will do what is needed to cover both the 12v...

The low mileage engine is a bonus, but keep in mind you will most likely need an injection pump soon. All low mileage cucvs I've owned started leaking fuel from the IP soon after I started driving them.

I dont understand what your asking about when you say "used one for the 6.5s".
If you mean use a 6.2L cdr in your 6.5L, then I'd ask why bother when you can buy the right 6.5L cdr valve easily from rockauto or other part distributors.
If you want a 6.5L cdr for a HMWWV with port for the...
Use a piece of flexible downspout from your local hardware store. I believe what I used was the 2"x3" oval type. See pic for example. The plumbing section will have a rubber flange to seal the housing to the downspout material. I may have found this flange at Lowes. I used rivets to hold the...
