Wow, believe it or not I tried calling progressive again and they let me get insurance through them. I guess me calling insurance companies until I got an inexperienced agent was a good idea. I win! $450 annually
I'm finding it very hard to get my new m35a2 insured. My current company "cross insurance" has been trying to find an underwriter for 3 weeks now. They tell me that I am unable to get my vehicle insured as an antique because I'm under 25 years old ( I'm 20). Basically It seems like I spent $4000...
It's 500 miles one way for the deuce, but ill personally be traveling 1000 miles total. The deuce is a known good runner from a private sale. I wasn't asking how to fill tires with air, I simply got confused about the tire inflation hose comment. Also, I'm just not familiar with these trucks at...
Doesn't this^ require specific equipment to begin the oil changes? I cant just go to the gas station and fill the tires, I will be needing some kind of adapter?
A total of 1000 miles.
Here's what I've accumulated so far for the trip to pickup my m35a2 this weekend. Just wondering if everything looks good and any suggestions would be appreciated. Also, will that motor oil be ok for an ip lubricant?
Thanks for the help buddy. What kind of motor oil would be best? Also, with all of this, motor oil, and additive stuff, is it necessary to mix the stuff in the tank somehow (stick?) or do i just dump it in and forget?
I also got some of that "diesel kleen-cetane booster" was told that it would be a good first tank additive. Now is that cetane booster an absolute necessary additive to use every time i fill up the tank, or is more like a one time thing?
Quick quesiton, not trying to hijack. I'll be bringing my first deuce home friday (only drove a deuce once) and I'm curious if it's safe to run it full throttle nearly all the way home (500 miles)? Also, how simple is it to run that throttle control as a speed control?
Well the can says that the flame emits no harmful emissions. Maybe it still is toxic? Would the heater that you recommended go in the engine compartment or does the heater come with hoses that'll reach the cab?
I'm planning to go pickup my new m35a2 next friday, so considering it doesn't have a heater in it I purchased some camp cooking (gel based) fuel. I plan to use them for a heat source, they last about 2 1/2 hours each (i have 4). Wondering two things, Is this safe in terms of inhalation (fuel is...
I've been offered 2 cargo covers, differences being one is "rubberized" camo pattern and the other is canvas olive drab. Is one better than the other, which one should I go for?
