As far as the pole mounted ones are concerned.......isn't proper grounding important with these radios/antennas? I would think just clamping it to a pole wouldn't be sufficient enough, even with the one ground strap. Am I wrong thinking this way?

removed the cargo cover and uprights for winter. :-( The truck looks so much better with it on there too...... Received my sugar scoop, base, and antenna. Should be getting the bracket spacer and back plate as well as tie down pretty soon. They need to be painted, and installed.

My wing man and I spent the night in our deuce on Wednesday night. Spent the night playing Checkers and Jenga. It is the start of our camping kit that we are building. Sunday night, the plan is to have the 7yo, 2yo, myself, and momma. She despises the truck, so this is a huge jump!
