I found a diagram that shows the coolant flow. Looks like it's able to circulate without the thermostat impeding anything. I had read somewhere that it was mentioned not to use this type of heater without the engine already being warm because you need the thermostat open for it to work.
I wasn't going to use the valves to close off the heater every time. The heater instructions just mention not running the heater while the truck is running. I would like them, however, for maintenance on the unit and what-not. I can service the heater itself and not loose all my AF...
Airsoft shoots a little plastic BB. They can range between 250 and 700 feet per second.
Paintball shoots a .68 caliber gelatin paintball. 99% of legitimate fields are regulated at 300fps or lower.
The airsoft guys are almost strictly milsim only. Paintball basically has two renditions (with...
I'm going with the big plug (in the last pic at 5 o'clock position). I think it's a 1" plug.
Got the plug out that is behind the solenoid. What a little bastard. Had to use an impact and slowly work it out. But, now that i'm looking at it, the straight fitting that came with the heater...
Yeah, those airsoft guys go nuts!
I'm an avid paintballer, so we have the whole "ford vs. chevy" rivalry between the two groups. But, we also have some guys that do both. And yes, thousands can be spent on gear just to go play "pretend." lol

So which plug do I want on this end? That big fella that's all by itself towards the front of the truck? Or the plug that isn't doing anything in that group of fittings? Hoping to do this job today.
It was funny.....my rearmost axle vent didn't budge. I unscrewed it, and as I removed it it hissed at me. The truck had sat for about a week......I wonder where the pressure came from? I mean, I guess I should be proud that my seals held the pressure that long.
With a new puppy taking most of my attention, it's hard to get anything done. However, while letting her run in the back yard, I grabbed my 7/16 and my brake clean and checked all my axle vents. Can't wait until I replace them all with a vent system to the air cleaner housing.
Oh, and a very...
These guys appear to have one. Maybe I'll just call them. However, it says item added in 2008, so it might be a long shot.

Anyone know what this is/used to be?
The owner says that it had a box on it, and any ID plates went away with the box. Been searching the web for a good portion of the day and found plenty of things that were "close."
Anyone?
