I dont know if there is a run flat inside or just a beadlock. Either way it wasn't holding air and the soap test indicated a bead leak. I swapped it out with the spare and will break it down sometime in the future. My son and I broke down two M35A3 combat rims with tires yesterday..the hardest...
Changed a flat on a M923A2...due to a leaky bead.
After that experience, I'm looking for some of the tire sealant Zout posted about. I can live without CTIS.
Hey John, thanks for the reply. I did email Maradyne and you are correct that an equivalent hose is Aeroquip FC647-06-BLK.
If I buy a 50' roll of H100-06 (Eaton Weatherhead 3/8 ), I can get it for close to $3.00/ft, so was offering anyone interested 20-25' at my cost plus shipping so we can...
I did find the Eaton Weatherhead H10006 hose at a NAPA south of me; however, the price is well over $4/ft plus sales tax.
I found a great deal for 50' online; if anyone is interested in 20' of this hose please pm me. I'm thinking about just ordering the 50' and offering 20-25' at cost (plus...
Wrong!! I dont know why you continue to argue this fact. I'm only posting this so other FL members are not confused like you. See the attached jpeg which is the latest revision dated 03/12 of form 83045 with the appropriate section circled in red. The box you want to check is next to "A Former...
If you actually download the 83045 form and read it, you will see that a former military vehicle is exempt from age limits. As stated above, it will be subject to use restrictions.
I was curious if any members bought new hose for their setups and if so, what did you use?
I installed my kit last night and in hindsight wish I had made my two air lines from the cylinder to the torque valve longer so I can change the way the lines are routed.
The kit came with Eaton Weather...
You should not have to loosen fuel lines to change the primary fuel filter. Nor do you need to move the generator. A large open ended wrench (1" irc) up top will loose the bolt, with a helper or your other hand hold the canister so it doesn't drop and make a mess or worse break.
On the subject of crossed air lines relating to the transfer case high/low dump solenoid: I had some time to spend under my two M923a2s today. When you visually inspect the interlock solenoid on the top of the transfer case, make sure you pay special attention to the letters next to each valve...
You have a leak somewhere in the fuel system. As warthog pointed out, the fuel filter base is prone to leaking. There are other spots to check as well, so follow the fuel line from the tank to the front and look for wetness. The fuel pumps are prone to problems and will leak over time. Cracked...
There used to be one in Green Cove Springs, FL. Not sure what model, but it was definitely a LARC. I haven't driven that way lately, so not sure if its still there.
If it was a free option yes, if extra I'd have to think about cost vs. benefit. Tinted windows are nice, but if your going to be rolling up the sides, what would it matter?
