I wouldn't try to flat tow a M936 with a M818. That is asking for trouble and the tail will wag the dog. In a pinch, at very low speeds, and short distance (like to the next exit) it would be a okay.
Fast Track Logistics didn't weigh anything. This is an adjustment passed down from the LTL carrier. If you look on their website, this is the first sentence "Fast Track Logistics is a third party, non–asset based, broker of transportation program services".
I haven't had any luck finding a manual either. I would be grateful if anyone has any leads. The mfg is Over-Lowe, the contract is F 41608-81-D-0018, the model is TP-5A4-DC and the NSN is 6230-01-096-3508.
Gears on M915A1 are 4.33 IIRC. Most I have driven run about 60 MPH stock. Older M915 with CAT 16 speed and higher gears will run much faster. I put super single Goodyear 395/85R20 tires on my M915A1 and normally run about 70-72 mph.
