    Rod knock

Dang, that sucks. rlwm211: Wait... known for issues running over 2200 rpm? Links to threads please? I know the manual says cruise is 1800 to 2100 or thereabouts, but I thought danger zone was 2500 and above?

Best Generator for Veg or WVO

I believe there is a company out there that makes gen sets from LDT-465's That would most likely be your best bet. Albeit WAY overkill. Who needs 60kW capacity?

Make a remote switch for the 24V fuel transfer pump?

I've got one of those fuel transfer pumps that you can run slaved to the deuce, thanks to Mkcoen's generosity. Used it to transfer some free Jet A... but I had to use a little auto parts store switch, because I don't have the switch you're supposed to use. I think I can probably get the...

    Metallic detergents and WMO

I'm thinking they are. Stuff that, when burned, might turn to metallic ash and cause premature wear in the engine.

    Metallic detergents and WMO

How are people dealing with this issue? Will a centrifuge alone separate these additives from WMO? Has anyone sent some WMO that was known to have detergent in it to an oil analysis lab after centrifuging it? If so, what were the results? Do these oil testers even check for detergents? I've...

    RPK fits CUCV gun rack

None of the founders would argue that a private forum of discussion must by necessity allow all comers and all topics. That said, I do find this site's aversion to gun discussion rather silly. MV owners aren't even on most people's radar screens. MV collection as a hobby is not something your...

    Started filtering WMO

How hot does the oil need to get for the water to separate satisfactorily? I've got about 500 gallons in a tank that sat through a pretty hot summer last year. Got over 110F ambient for a month.

    RPK fits CUCV gun rack

Nice. I wonder if an RPK will fit in the deuce M16 cab mount.

Nice! How does it compare to the old pump, piston-size wise and speed wise?

How clean is WMO vs Diesel?

It should definitely be filtered more. It will be, if you pour it straight into your deuce. You'll be doing alot of roadside fuel filter changes if you do that, tho.
