I got plates for my M109A3, and submitted the paperwork to obtain a title.
If I can get a chance to R&R the lift pump, and swap out my bad injector line, I should be in good shape to sell her once the title comes back.
Leverage make a big difference. You can't really see well in the video, but the first stump I pulled was much bigger and I left about 5' of trunk to get it.
The "bounce" technique eliminates all of the smoke and drama, as long as the strap holds. You can tell in the video I'm not using much...
This little poplar was surprisingly stubborn. Videography was very poor.
I used a "bounce" method since the tires were just spinning otherwise.

Ok. I sorta found that the hard way while removing my soft top, just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed anything. I guess I should have looked up the appropriate manual.
Haven't found anything too exciting in mine. There's a GI Joe figure chilling in one of the front tow rings, but I saw that before I bought it.
I found the auction paperwork where the previous owners bought each of my deuce's from govliq.
Found the PO left a fishing pole in the back of my...
My truck typically sits for a few weeks between uses. I let the lift pump run for a bit and I crank it over a little with the engine stop pulled out (I saw this advised somewhere in case of hydrolock when sitting). I then push it in and by the time the engine stop hits the dash, the engine is...
I wouldn't say its a myth, but its been fixed. When synthetics were first introduced they found that they didn't keep rubber seals swelled up the way conventional oil did. The seals would appear to "dry out" and could introduce leaks.
They corrected that with some additives.
My 109 currently has a small leak on one of the injector lines. I have to run the lift pump extra long if I want a smooth start.
My other truck doesn't have any leaks, and about 30 seconds on the lift pump is all it takes for a quick, smooth start.
Thanks for the reply. My sister used to have a toyota truck that had a dried out speedometer cable and it made a HORRENDOUS noise in the cab. I figured on a larger truck, the noise would be equally larger. I'll definitely be lubricating mine to see if any difference is made. The fact that...
Did your speedometer cable or drive make any funny noises?
My transmission has a high speed hum, and I'm hoping its just the speedo cable and not the output bearing as another member found to be the culprit on his truck.
