    Started to work on the new frame today. I flipped the hubs,rebuilt the wheel cylinders,replaced all of the seals. Also got the new spare tire carrier on.

    I had a local alternator shop build me one for $150.00. I used another deuce alt bracket and a spacer to mount it.

    6.2 oil pump drive rod failure

    It only ran for a few minutes and still sounds good. I would like get the broken piece out and put in a new shaft to see how it sounds and see what the oil pressure is. The truck is my old plow truck and I don't want to put to much time into it if I don't have to.

    Pick up a complete winch set up for the deuce today. Just have to clean it up and get it mounted. I think I'm going to need to get a new cable for it anyone know where to get one for a good price?

    Check your brake fluid!

    I went the cheap way. I used a clutch resevoir off of a honda I found at a junkyard. I only holds a little fluid but I can check it everytime I go to drive it.

    Well it looks like I'm going to stretch out the deuce and put the 5ton spare tire carier with a 109 box. Picked up a rear m35 frame from John(6x6guy) over the weekend.

    I would take out the foam from the back of the seat. I did this when I drove my deuce home (250 miles) and it made driving so much better.

    I just looked ay my IL title and they put my deuce as a pick up. I run AV plates on mine and never had a problem. My friend had a A3 and he had to run F plates because they are good to 16000lbs. With the deuce 13,900 lbs GVWR you would be able to haul 2100lbs and still be good with standard...
