Have 2 red tops in my plow truck and they dont like it. They dont seem to recover from the load from plowing. Old batteries were regular ones and made 6 years plowing with no trouble. Tested the alternator and thats 100% so next time im definetely going back to conventional batteries.2cents
Isn,t that guy on pass time from Tyler Texas? Maybe Texas Chassis Works can hook you up. Seriously though if the in tank pump is not working you could have a blown fuse on the pump. Take off that small cover on top of the fuel pump and check the 3 amp fuse. A clog in the pump could...
Pre bent a2 lines would be awesome. Just blew a brake line on the way home in the deuce and if you havent expierenced that yet believe me you dont want to. I plan on changing them all out now. They looked fine on the outside so I guess you just never know.
I agree with AaronW you should get both[thumbzup] Seriously though I ve never driven a 900 series truck but the 818 has a good turning radius. I dont know how long a 923 is compared to an 818 but it might be something to think about.
Saw lights that looked similar to them mounted on a 816 wrecker. They were warning lights but im not by any means 100% on that. I was told they flashed but Idid not see them operate.
Make sure you use the right weight blinker fluid. You ll get a nasty tap if its to thick in the cold. I use the 5w5 in the winter, just my preferance. :cookoo:

Yes I have one and dont leave home without it. Im not sure of what company made it. It looks like a milwalkee but im not sure because it has no labels. It works great off any slave hook up andits got enough cord to reach the back of my deuce. I got mine from kublos surplus in...
That looks like the vent tied into the air pack. Open the door on the drivers side floor were you check the brake fluid and it is probebly threaded into the cap on the air pack.
Picked up another deuce last week that im bringing back to life. The previous owner robbed the injection pump and starter off of it but luckily for me I had those parts in stock. Got the starter in and wired and got the injection pump in and timed. Hope to have it running by the weekend.[thumbzup]
:driver:Kublos are always good to deal with. Pick one out and they ll go through it then drive it home. I ve gotten two from there with no issues. 175 mile trip home with both of them. Ive never dealt with the other surplus dealers so I can only say what ive found from my expierences. Good luck.
