What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

There could have been a lot worse places to break down, but after a short time and a few choice words in the 92 degree heat, she was back up and running again. A nice lady in the parking lot offered me a Blue Bell ice cream, making the drive home quite refreshing

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

She rode out the storm last week, fortunately missed the tornado in the background that heavily damaged the north side of town

Agreed, I was in no hurry to make the 6 oclock news, on the trailer it went, and rode to it's new home. Even a conventional backhoe will buck once you hit a certain speed

I've walked backhoes over ditches many times, but the SEE is new to me so look forward to hearing your experimentations prior to making any attempt with my new toy. On a different note, the seller asked me why I wasn't just driving the FLU419 home from the lot, after all it starts and runs? I...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Annoying air leak under cab demanded attention. I found a straight brass adaptor was split front to back (hairline crack). Took the part to NAPA and a dozen other semi local auto / truck parts depts. with no luck in finding a match, or a suitable replacement. Resorted to southern ingenuity...
