What have you done to your 5 ton this week?
There could have been a lot worse places to break down, but after a short time and a few choice words in the 92 degree heat, she was back up and running again. A nice lady in the parking lot offered me a Blue Bell ice cream, making the drive home quite refreshing- General Hood

Agreed, I was in no hurry to make the 6 oclock news, on the trailer it went, and rode to it's new home. Even a conventional backhoe will buck once you hit a certain speed- General Hood

There was a huge stack of TMs on the passenger seat, still wrapped in cellophane. I guess it was thrown in as a bonus. Annoying air leak under cab demanded attention. I found a straight brass adaptor was split front to back (hairline crack). Took the part to NAPA and a dozen other semi local auto / truck parts depts. with no luck in finding a match, or a suitable replacement. Resorted to southern ingenuity...- General Hood
