I dont have any extra pins but was thinking of buying a 3 foot section of aluminuim rod and cutting it down to the right size for use as extra pins. Is there anything special about the aluminum used to make the pins?
Thanks, I figured it out. I was on the Eniwetok, Kwajalein time zone. My next suggestion is for me to do more research before posting stupid suggestions, Sorry.
I have a suggestion. How about setting the forum clock to either eastern, central or pacific time to better show posting times. Right now its 7 am pacific time and the time stamp on the post will show 3 am.
Hey we should come out there with our dueces and dirt bikes and have a day in the dirt. Only problem for me is no weekends off right now. Where are you located Mike? Doesnt look like LA, kinda looks like the hills around Simi Valley.
Sounds like fun. Ive got the same dent on my bed above the spare tire, that dent seems common. Did your truck come out of Barstow? Thats where I got mine and it had velcro patches all over the body like yours.
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Mopar 440 deuce in the mud
Hey Rizzo, what is the video titled under on the website? I cant get it to open from your link and cant find it on the site.
rmgill, that is the EXACT idea I have for loading/unloading a shelter of some sort. I was going to stick to all electric stuff, (winch/hydraulics). I havent figured out a ramp set up yet, at least an affordable ramp set up.
It depends on if I get the dump bed set up that I plan on doing. I dont know if they will work with a dump bed. I had the bed off while the truck was parked in my garage and one day I just decided to slap it back on without thinking about the bumperettes. Why do you need some?
I would have to have the truck here to see how to make it. I'm not familiar with the 800 series truck to be able to make one off the top of my head sorry.
I figured I would share this idea with everyone and did'nt plan on trying to sell them but if anyone does'nt feel like making it them I could probably crank out a few, it was very easy. Only problem now is if they really want the fuel, they will just drill a hole in the tank like they were doing...
RE: Re: RE: finally added a civilian hitch
No modifications necessary, it is made for a mid 80's chevy pickup, I'm pretty sure the 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, and 1 ton are the same frame width. The only thing is if you are going to bolt it on, I would re drill the holes in the hitch so they are better...
HMMMMMM, I dont remember the names of 2 of the guys I sold trucks to but the other ones I have sold are to my buddies, I would like to see the summary of resposibilities too.
