I am no expert by any means but have you checked the CV Boots for any leaks or splits in the boots? I would think when turning it could be a CV joint..
Yeah mine's not accurate either with 395's on it but I passed by one of those "You are going this fast" cop boxes on the side of the road at 40mph and it said I was going 47. So I guess I am somewhere around 17% low on the guage..
PS: The truck looks great!
.
Thanks ! I bet those horns sound nice!!:D
Good luck with the paint job. Are you painting the rims as well? Here's a little trick I like, A piece of sheet metal or you can use poster board so you don't paint your tires! You can get right up to that hard to reach lip next to the tire.. I heard...
That was AWESOME!! ahh the dreaded 12 point turn.. Thought you were going to take out the barn for a second there.
Congrats!! The truck looks pretty good for sitting that long..
Like it ALLOT! Looks much better than the camo job. I used Rustoleum flat back but thinned with paint thinner instead of Acetone so I think that's what caused my "chalking"..
Nice job!
Ah now I can see the video not sure why it wasn't coming up for me..
Wow the truck was really buried! Motor sounds good!
Can't wait to see you drive it out!!
.
Yeah it's a fun truck and pretty reliable but not for a daily driver in my opinion..
PS: Unless you know someone who works on them, prepare to be your own mechanic!

Welcome! And a fine looking truck I may add. If you have the dual MC and Airpack you'll be happy and have a whole lot more piece of mind when braking!
Well I posted almost the exact same named thread, surprised it didn't come up if you searched for it..

I just used a big piece of aluminum.[thumbzup] .. and less messy then grease..
