Hi Bhpdbrad...
This question has been talked about before on a different thread (about an M35A2).
Below you can link directly to that thread, but here's some of the info I added at that time:

I added locking handles and screws on both my doors. It was a very easy job.
They look similar to the originals, are keyed alike and beef up basic security a lot.
I've done several 'anti-theft' modifications to my deuce in hopes of slowing the
bad guys down a bit. You can never do enough, but...
Nice looking MV! Congratulations! [thumbzup]
The hobby is fun, but having an awesome 'Soldier B'
makes it even better.
There are lots of ways to paint these MVs, but mine is
plain 383 CARC green and I love it!

BTW... after getting hooked on OD green, I managed to overcome a very serious 'crack' problem.
One good weld 'fixed' everything!
Glad you've been able to get caught up on this project! The 'hole error' made by the shop was not 'cool',
but at least you had the means to correct the mistake. Can't wait to see a pic as soon as the paint is dry! [thumbzup]
My kids tell me this OD/MV thing is a HUGE addiction!

They told me to edit your post to:
They remind me that this new 'hobby' has somehow brought out a previously
unnoticed addictive aspect of my personality. They point out how REAL it is by
forcing me to acknowledge the steadily...
I painted mine in Behr 383 CARC green with the idea of adding the camo pattern
to it later on. That was a couple of months ago and the paint is looking pretty nice.
In the meantime... that 'green only' look has been growing on me so much that...
I might just leave it that way! I also blacked...
True! I feel at times like I'm stuck in an 'endless loop' of 1, 2 and 3.
Not sure if I should laugh, or cry. :shrugs:
Ah well...
It's all good! [thumbzup]
