I bought a engine in a can, it was a T/O. It looked good, newer shiny bolts, and clean. What i found when i installed it was a bad gov in the IP and a crack in the IP mounting plate caused by pinching the oil line. which is propably what caused the problem in the IP. I replaced the IP,oil line...
Yes ,those rims are about 150# each. I had six of them in the back of my Focus! I have the 15.5 385x20 on my bridge truck and have it in the creek flats pulling trees without any problems. With that said, the 385's are actualy smaller than the stock 14:00x20.
Are you shure it is not 150.000 miles? I had a high milage GM trans that I thought should have some service done to it, bad idea! I ended up replacing the filter five more times. My neighbor told me to re-use the old fluid but to strain it through a nylon stocking. I thought what a dumb idea...
My M51a2 had a plow on it that the Gov. put on it, it was gone when i got it. They had a section of C channel from each of the U-bolt bottoms under the axle. there was enough bolt there for them to fasten it without removing the old nuts. it looked pretty stout. I think your set up look's...
I agree on the gasser dash. Multi conversion. that dewss does not look too bad. I would look at the front main or where ever all that oil is coming from. It will be much easier for him to get the title than you. Good luck with your nu dewss!
You must have had a time getting it out. the gear has a spot in it that is missing some teeth that let's it pop right out. I would inspect the head, and drive gear for damage. then i would get the proper tm and follow that. TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2 section 5 pages 168-182 You will not be able...
I have some odd 22.5 tires. 18-22.5 super single not for highway use ,but ironicly called super road tread. the truck they were on was driven on the road with no problems.
Does the soleniond lift when You are cranking? Mine was stiff and would stick in the off (down) position so it would crank but not start. I think Speddmon is very good with the Mep003.
I have been in your shoes also. just when you think you have it, it lets loose and spins like a 3/8 bolt in a 5/8 hole. I don't know why they don't put a couple plugs in the cab floor. or do away with the cage nut and weld two nuts to a strip of metal that fit's in there.
My 6tl's are also '06 and they are junk also. I would not use a 6tl if it were new and free. I have replaced all my other trucks with wally world specials. I would like to try the group 34's . I have a simmilar problem with my 812. you turn on the master switch and then hit the start all goes...
If they have not been off in 25 years you will probably end up buying new ones any way. In the past i have drilled a small 1/8" hole right where the hub and drum come together. it helps relieve the pressure there. I would not recommend this if you plan to re-use them.
