Added the rear bow and it definitely improved the look. I used some rubber rope with hooks to tie down the cover. Fits pretty tight now.

Wrecker with a bed cover Here is a is what I believe to be a 5 ton Stewart Stevenson tan cover on my M936A2. Still needs one more bow in the rear most stake pockets. Its nice to have the spare tire and all the machinery covered now.

Great idea. They didn't make it easy to lock or unlock that engagement lever. Oiled mine and it moves easy but you you sort of need to a contortionist to get a finger in there to unlock it. Your mod makes it much easier I'm sure.

Removed, disassembled cleaned and lubed my shutter stat. Fan still not locking up on my 936A2. On nf6x's post #50 you can see on the coolant contact end (thermal bulb end) it has a locknut on the shaft holding the thermal bulb. Has anyone tried adjusting that shaft in or out to try to change...

Mr SteelandCanvas sometimes JR, I believe the valve is completely mechanical on the Cummins 6CTA. Heat from the coolant opens the valve allowing air to travel to the fan clutch. No wires are attached to this thermal valve. Just has a pressure line and a feed line to the clutch.

I have a M936A2 and I don't think the thermal valve mounted on the upper radiator hose that actuates the fan clutch is working correctly. Sometimes the water temp gets up to just over 200 degrees with no fan lockup/actuation. Is the thermal valve serviceable?? Is their a good source for...
