my stock leece neville alternator has a shaft size of 5/8, just measured it, and the delco units that i have, like the one installed on my truck are 7/8 diameter I think you will have to, as previously stated modify the fan shroud to get a 4 groove pulley So are you going to a 4 groove pulley...

one could be built, or found......... 70+ amps is a lot at 24 volts, it is like having 150 amps at 12 volts, lots of power

which model? 27si, 21si, or 22 si? I am going to stick with the newer units, they are more reliable, and the price is right

The fist batch of bowls are done and off to the anodizer, gotta keep them corrosion resistant

your alternator should be an internally regulated unit? correct, 60 amp? got a pic?

I replaced my wire from the relay to the solenoid, it was bad, got a heavy gauge batt wire from autozone and did a slight mod to make it work, but like the diagram above, if it is charging, it is good....... the little wire has to be switched

the small wire goes directly to the ign switch, you are correct, it turns the alt on there is a grnd wire, it is obvious which one it is, it goes from the alt body to the frame the charge wire is tagged with #2, it goes from the alt to the starter solenoid on the starter and there are 2 wires...

bad tire, or loose bearings, check tie rod ends...., loose wheel, etc

A, and C, are the rear mount, and the front mount, the bracket needs clearance between b, and c for the water pump hose...... right under the area marked B is a bolt which is in the way of the tab on the rear of the new alternator, and the bracket would have to be notched to clear the rear...
