I hope GL is watching this site.

I do not think GL cares about any of us, it is bottom line, and if they could, well they would bone us all for a profit..... I think they do a good service, but are greedy

I like the simple centrifuge , but i hate the 500 dollar price tag on the bowl, that is where a huge part of the cost comes from with my bowl, and motor, a template, a couple doggie bowls, some plexiglass, and an inexpensive angle iron mount someone could make their own for 600-700 dollars and...

here is a little video showing the bowl mounted to the motor, the motor sitting on a bench, perfectly balanced while running, these are nice bowls......

first bowl.... second bowl, which will be shortened, shown inside of first bowl, adding of the second bowl is not needed, but makes cleanup a lot nicer, and you do not contaminate your good oil with unfiltered oil centrifuge bowl shown inside of both bowls

nope, use gravity, with a valve, any valve to control flow I have some doggie bowls from the farm store that are going to work fine for the application, the lid will be plexiglass with some spring clips of some sort to hold it tight, anywhoo, here are the bowls, the smaller one will get cut...

you would have a centrifuge bowl, sitting in a metal bowl, inside of a metal bowl 2 drains, one for cleaned oil, one for water/junk, and one inlet I am on the hunt for metal pots today, i will find something.... i will mod it and make it work

I am working on a casting right now, with feet and drains built in, as well as a preheater, wmo, wvo would drain into the unit form a bucket/drum, whatever you want to use, and then through the small preheater element, then be filtered, and drain into another bucket, drum, or whatever, ready to...

water is heavier than oil, it will be forced to the outside of the bowl as well, and when the centrifuge stops spinning, the water and unfiltered oil in the bowl will all drain from the three small holes into an area under the bowl, which will be drained into a bucket, all on its own.... I am...

wipe it out from inside the bowl, and throw it away...... very simple and easy, the bowl has three holes in the bottom that drain uncleaned wmo so you can clean the bowl easy
  12. avengeusa

    100% used motor oil fuel.

this will work a bizillion times better than a filter setup, you can clean oil to the point where it looks like iced tea, someone on this site had a pic you need to fab up a body to catch the oil as it spins out of the bowl, very easy to do, and there are a number of ways to make one, even an...

    100% used motor oil fuel.

sorry, but the smaller unit is like the standard bowls everyone else is making, the larger ones are an inch larger in diameter, because of the larger diameter there will be more centrifugal force, which means cleaner oil faster, and more oil volume

I have centrifuge bowls and motors in now.....:-D WMO here i come, I am gonna make 50 of these to start, if anyone is in need of one i am thinking 300 for the smaller ones, and maybe 30 more for the larger ones

395s WILL fit on a stock Deuce!!!

I have heard, and read that those tires are unsafe on those wheels, I think they will be good, but i need some info from people who have done some miles on those tire/wheel combo's, I do not want to be having tires dismount from the wheels on the eway on my 500 mile roud trips, does anyone have...
