There has been much debate on the web about the actual amount of HP that the marine injectors truly add... with most folks going by the readings from their 'butt-dyno' in regards to how much power is actually added.
Simply adding different injectors WILL NOT increase power by 40+ HP, Period...
Unless the engine is in rough mechanical shape or on it's last legs, it should see a redline of 3600rpm... but after about 2400-2500rpm, you're losing power & wasting fuel. IIRC, max torque occurs in 1800-2200rpm range on a 6.2 -
