    m-715 floor pans

Really sad to hear about JeepPanels Plus, they were really great to work with, made me about two sets of M-101 stakes for the cost of the die, and their floor panels were the best, put new ones in a jeep and one of my 725's worked great, no starain putting them in like some aftermarket stuff...

    Messing with TankLady's tank

Nice stuff, and we think helping the Allen County Historical Society with their Sherman was fun........ My oh my, You folks are just having more fun than any one person should legally be allowed to.:-P

    What is this Tank called

Most of those we've seen are now diesel powered, we're just completing a cosmetic restoration on one for the VFW post in Bellevue, Ohio. We really think that if we rebuilt the starter, it might light off!!!! Its a nice rig, came from an outfit out west when last rebuild was done at depot...

Fair price for having a radiator recored

I've had several various radiators re-cored, from a CCW 5 ton to the 38-A1, the ones for newer stuff I just bought new it was less expensive. And the price you quote is actually a good one, a little less than I paid.

    No CCKW left behind

check up under the dash on the tunnel at the fire wall, mine was thought to be a "deuce" too right up till I found the tag there and showed the farmer I got it from that it was a 1942 5 ton 6X4 cargo built by Yellow Truck and Bus Div. GMC. Frank VonRosenstiel in Canada has new nomenclature...

    No CCKW left behind

That doesn't look like a drive axle under the front is it? You could have an early GMC 5 ton there if the front axle is I-beam not a banjo and thats whats on the rear, they didn't use mixed axles that I know if, (timken splits and banjo's) I've got one of the 5 tonner's working it up now...

    MV Code of Conduct

There has been alot of good material here and its obvious that the hobby is under serious scrutiny, there are states even now attempting to withdraw the ability to use our vehicles on the roads. And lets face it, even repainted civilian colors they are still "military trucks" and the public is...

Ran when parked or I'm going to restore them one day

I guess if that is what Detroit wants as its claim to fame, the reality of a movie, but who'd want to go there to see the statue? Most folks I know hate the idea of even driving through it on the freeway, the traffic on Rt 23 is getting alot worse because of it. As for the LEO's in and around...

    Sea Foam?

Thats the nice thing about this forum, while 'long ago in a galaxcy far far away' I was once trained as a diesel mechanic, today most of us only play at being one. And threads like this allow us to glean the best and worst of what we do in our hobby. The members here are not afraid to post...

    Sea Foam?

Sea Foam is really good stuff, I use it in my equipment and the towing company (read marine towing company here) has used it for years in their gas and diesel equipment and also uses it to lay up (pickle) any engines that have sunk and have to be laid up to await the bill being paid for the...

    Boyce Equipment

Boyce has always been a good source for me, I needed a section of manifold for my M-62 International and they made me a deal I just couldn't refuse and got the whole manifold instead, plus a book for it. Really nice people to deal with all the way around. And all my stuff has to be shipped...

    The Untouchable rebuild

Thanks Driver523 for the further info on the M-37 gun truck "Godzilla", we didn't know it carried a mini, that sort of complicates things some. I understand recreating those is a royal pain. Say one on "The Untouchables" at an event in Marion, Ohio a few years back when "the Wall" was there...

    so I think I want a tank

These guys are spot on, if you're looking for armor to play with, the Scorpion type vehicle is best. American armor is nice but heavy, expensive to maintain and driving it anywhere is not really fun. The permits will fry your brain, as the DOT folks don't really appreciate us. And the...

2 M37s Saved from the scrapper

The "37's" are out there, I've got a couple of my own that I just need to get here from where they've been living and hiding for awhile, and there is another that some guy south of here has sitting out in his back yard, guess its supposed to be a parts truck for one he has in the barn. But even...

    Highland Raiders

Good footage and never saw it before. Really like the background music. Never saw that many trucks at one time. Really classic stuff, but the stuff nightmares are made of too.

    New Guntruck

How come all the builds on these seem to be out on the east coast? Guess we'll just have to get over our financial bashfullness and get our build of Godzilla underway.

    Highland Raiders

really nice pictures and more history of those great trucks. I know a bunch of guys why are thankful they were there.

    The Untouchable rebuild

Keep up the good work guys, we're still working on a recon. of "Godzilla", Not the most impressive gun truck, but has a meaning for me. During a rocket attack in country, a couple buddies and I had been trying to drown our situation in "jungle juice" and were wondering what would make the d---ed...
