1 phase, 120/240 would be 26 amps. The set would probably be able to take a 30 or 31 amp draw for a few minutes. I know the mep's are purposely under rated by 20 or 25 percent I believe.
How old is your AC unit? Does it have a soft start installed?
Everyone's load calculations are going to be different.
I have a 3200 sqft house. My largest loads were a 4500 watt water heater, a 3 or 3.5 ton AC and three teenage boys with their gaming systems and tvs. Everything in my house besides the water heater is gas.
Running everything, every light...
Yes it's an issue. These sets are made to run with a load on them. Look up "wet stacking". You can try and add resistive loads such a electric heaters to add more load to your set but honestly it sounds like you really needed a 802 instead of a 803.
Great observation! Honestly I don't know what the deal was with the two filters I got. I'm sure at some point I'll give them another try but they would just not thread on for me.
I'll probably do the mobile one's for awhile just because that what I run on my car and truck but orileys is the...
Both wix filters came from orileys. Without getting into a debate about what filters are the best because I know I have my brands that I tend to trust more than others I recently found a Napa near me but now that I know I can use a mobile one I'm good!
I agree, if they are spot quality controlling filters which I assume they are there is no telling how many went out the door.
When I went back for another one I ended going to a different store about 30 miles from the first store and still wound up with a bad one.
It wasn't until I switched...
Im at a loss here. It definitely feels like cross threading / Wong pitch of threads. Same numbers, same size, same damn label but it won't go on.
The threads are cut clean and everything looks good it just won't go on.
I'm on my way to the store to grab another one. Let's see what happens.
Alright I need to some help before I lose my mind.
The WIX 51374 oil filter, I pulled the old one off and the new one won't go on. It feels like it's a different thread pattern.
I've checked, both oil filters have the same number and both are the same size. The only difference I can find...
Don't get me wrong I definitely use my 803. At my max usage in the house I'm hitting 80 percent load on the 803. Last month I used 2000kWh. Three boys, a lot of gaming and hot water usage really drives up the consumption.
My issue is I currently have a electric water heater that I want to...
Not to hijack the thread but @69birdman shoot me a PM on the 802. I would be interested. I currently have a 803 that runs very well but I believe it's just overkill for my house.
I've been looking for an 802 but they are getting harder to come by.
I don't know.... We can kill sound all we want but I guess if we are still burning lights that will give us away but at least we can turn lights off and just appliances inside.
Either way it would be nice to have it safe in an enclosure. I will say in a shtf situation the guy that decides to...
I just got my order of 24lbs of powder and 10k primers today. I placed the order just before the buying went crazy. Everything is sold out now. 800 to 900 bucks for 1k of 9mm?!! Crazy.
Back to the topic. I'm good genny wise. Always doing PMCS. She runs well. My only concern at this point is...
Update *
So I ordered a replacement gauge through datcon and was told it would be 3 months before I received it.
After some looking around I found an alternative. Pictures are attached below, last picture has the price, site and part numbers that I used.
It is a faria gauge and a 12 to 24v...
