I was going to say the same thing. I first thought of a closed center system being maintained with a fixed displacement pump. That'd be some pretty hot oil. I suspect the word "pressure" was used more generically, and that it'll be an open center type of arrangement, such as many modern dump...
Non-stock wiring is always a gamble to diagnose remotely, too many possibilities, but here goes anyway.
If one were to ASSume that the six way conversion was/is done correctly and still functioning properly, then you've just described a broken ground circuit. If the plug seems to be the issue...
I wouldn't take a stand on the oiling issue. I can see it restricting "flow" via the troth, but I also agree with the above "oil atmosphere". I dunno how scared I'd be of that. I don't like braising for that type of movement, stress, general abuse however. I'd change it on a bad feeling, but...
Most states will preclude riding in the back of a truck. Some will not. If you're taking fuel money even as a reimbursement, precident says they're gonna classify you as commercial. If you're crossing state lines, that's gonna make you responsible to state AND federal regulations. You're...
Re: RE: M42 Duster part needed
I hope not. If they deem it hazardous and you might have breathed it in, what are they gonna do with you afterwards, since it surely wouldn't be right to bury you or to burn you.
More than likely-
These do not "force" upshifts via the shifter like some older auto's were capable of doing. Barring of course the newer stuff with the "fake manual" option.
Replace it. It's a bomb waiting to go off. Maybe a long fuse, maybe a short one. Maybe a big bomb, maybe a little bomb depending on just how it's corroded inside. But it's a bomb none the less.
Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: Fuel Economy of Alternative fuels
I dunno how hard that would be to explain. ATF is a very common "old school" thing to throw into your diesel tank, they've definately heard it before. The reds are not the same by any means, and the mention of it might strike something...
RE: Re: RE: Re: Fuel Economy of Alternative fuels
Too much gasoline in the mix costs power and performance, fuel mileage goes in the toilet (not really, but 9ish drops to 7ish, and the percentage near as I can figure was still only on the order of 25% gasoline. There are issues with the IP...
Without being too specific to this compressor, the general idea of the "pistons", or valves, is that they function like glorified reed valves, or one-way check valves. When the piston in the compressor (like an engine piston) moves down, air is drawn past the intake valve, which spring closes...
Air is air, and the deuce does provide that. I wouldn't worry on that count alone.
Less than 12K? Once you take out the trailer weight, That's only going to leave nine or so in reserve for actual cargo. Are you sure you don't want 12K so you can carry a couple of attachments with the skid...
50/50 is fine. 80/20 won't push through the filters fast enough under full load. A gallon of gasoline fixes two thirds of a tank when you figure out that 80/20 is too thick.
In roger-wilco-66's post, the diagonal strut that apparently goes to the lower door hinge and supports his mirror from vibration. I kind of like the looks, and while it's usualy not an issue, in particular instances the vibration in the mirror has been an issue for me. I'm thinking I'm going...
I suspect that it has to do with the rough terrain. These (like the trucks) are meant to be driven at prudent speeds across extreme terrain. (relatively speaking of course) The amount that can be set upon the suspension is a very much larger amount than what can be repeatedly lifted and...
Indeed it would be five.
I ruled out that out because the arms are too far apart for my holes in question, but now that you say it I can definately see it when I look again.
That was my understanding too, nearly all of the posts in this forum reflect that. Then there's this post which would indicate a fourth style. My guess is it was a short time, as most of the posts here only refer to three styles.
I've probably just missed them, but I've never seen that with...
Maybe I'm way off, TM only as knock on wood I havn't played with the injector pump yet, but that seems wrong. One fuel setting would make sense to adjust, but if you add up all those adjustments that are made to the pump during servicing, combine their function, and back them all off equally...
Re: RE: A couple of questions
I suspect what they "would have used" would just be the troop seats. I dunno why this is driving me so crazy. All I'm trying to do is fix one thing- The tailgate being taller than the rest of the bed. I dunno why that even bothers me to be honest. You're...
If it's a "rolling" hop, you could prolly suspect the sprag. If it's a "clutch chatter during the process of engagement" kind of hop, and it only happens in forward or only happens in reverse, the first culprit I'd suspect is a motor mount. Clutch and flywheel always spin the same direction.
