If you search for M977 on Youtube or HEMTT you'll find a number of videos. A few of them are mine and you are welcome to use any of mine. If you need the raw videos let me know and I should be able to get them to you.
Perfect, I compared it to another shot with my finger in the picture, and I'm fairly sure it's 1/4" NPT. Found a right angle version for $4.50 with free shipping on Amazon, we'll see if it fits.
The hoses themselves are in good shape from what I've seen.
I would agree, but instead of using a...
Well there's one fitting on my HMMWV that isn't right. I got the truck hot enough farting around the farm to blow this off. Basically what they've done he is pressed a rubber hose onto a 37 degree hydraulic fitting, clearly not the right thing. What size fitting is suppose to be here, and does...
Nothing specific, I need to get one of those dividers though that goes between the front and back. It's setup as a 4-man with the back cover. I put all the small stuff in the footwells in the back, and then tied the big stuff down.
We use ours for farm us in Virginia. We have 165 acres of hills basically, and it's a great substitute for a side by side or a four wheeler, and probably a bit safer. It sure can move more material around, which was why we bought it. We are clearing 30-50 acres of underbrush, and it hauls all...
It's not specific to the HMMWV, but basically any Torsen differential. When you have spinning wheels there's very little applied torque, and the differential basically sees it as driving as usual. When the brake is applied, it transfers some torque to the other side locking the differential up.
This happened to me too. Basically the base of the glow plug at the block starts to rust, a little bit of torque, and the outer housing fails, the top will spin, but she isn't coming out.
In the end I didn't bother removing it, she fires off instantly with just the seven!
Just let me know, PM or something and we can connect. You'll need a break controller and one of the 7 pin plugs on your truck to run the brakes etc.
Excellent point on the width. I actually drove over the fenders on mine, and used cribbing in the center of the deck to get it up and over. I...
I think you are a bit close towing it yourself. I towed my 998 soft top with a 12k rated trailer, and it did just fine, as one would expect. I would imagine the tongue weight to get a stable setup behind your truck might be difficult to achieve. Do you have a brake controller? It sounds like you...
We thought about that, just couldn't get anything that looked good and not to cheesy, just left it as is.
These newer 3DR style UAV's with a 4k capable camera attached to them can make some amazing videos. More goofiness to come!
