That 9 year old get's out of the deuce faster than I can.. Looks like he's tall for his age.. I would guess closer to 12-14 if I didn't know better. A vertical widescreen is that something new??
Darwin, incase you want to tackle the Airpack rebuild you may have already seen my thread on my rebuild http://www.steelsoldiers.com/deuce/82753-my-airpack-rebuild-photos.html
I listed all the tools you'll need too. I am somewhat mechanically inclined but am not a mechanic. If you take your...
No Problem, glad I could help..Someone shared that diagram with me when I was upgrading the switch after I broke it the original one, it was a big help.. Always enjoyed your threads on LED lighting upgrades!
Glad you made it back safely, thank you for your service.. Good luck in your new purchase, there are allot of great trucks in the classifieds here.
Darwin T, here is a schematic if that helps you out visually. The Brake light switch is part *a all you should need is the plug #7 and the T section #17 if you want to upgrade a standard Airpack. I just did it for mine but I didn't need the T section as I don't have an airline running to the...
Thanks guys, the original problem for me was my brakes were locking up. Not all the time but on my original recovery I heated them up pretty well. Then I also noticed fluid coming out of the "slobber tube" next to the engine so some fluid was getting past a seal somewhere internally.
So I...
I agree with DH, I don't like taking my M35 much over 50mph and feel safe doing it. I would say keep the F350 and pickup a cheap commuter car as others have said. I have a 99' Galant that I take to work every day.. had it for 10 years and it has only needed brakes.. 24 mpg with the v6. I have...
Right on the edge of France some good wine too! I had the pleasure of going to Munich for work 3 years in a row right at the end of Sept, smack in the middle of Oktoberfest! Awesome!!!!
I am sure you will have fun there, safe travels!
I think there is supposed to be some kind of a shield attached to that bracket, I don't have one though. Perhaps this video will help you out maybe you can see something ..
Then again I could be totally off base here..
I suppose it's all in your taste and what color/pattern you want to do. I myself wanted camo but the wifey compromise was a sold color that didn't involve green/army color. I went with Rustoleum flat black but after a few months it has started to chalk. Not bashing the company, I actually...
That's allot of work for me since 9-11. You're only 2 month's ahead of me by ownership and I have nor do I plan to tackle anything this big. Nice work, look forward to the pics of completion. Please post for all of us to..:drool:
I rebuilt my Airpack too and had the fluid blowing out the air vent as well. Saw a few small things I thought may have contributed but couldn't tell for sure. So long as it works for you now that's the main thing!
I just wanted to share some pics of this 5 ton I saw on Sunday, don't remember the guy's name but this was one giant truck! If he's on here thanks for bringing it! It was a pleasure to see, as well as all the others there.. Thank you all it was a fun show to go to and pick up some new...
