I got quoted about $600 to make a 97" in long driveshaft with a carrier bearing for my crew cab. So if its for a bobber and extending the shaft 5-10" that's a little pricey!
I need a 5 ton winch setup that is palletized shipped from Loganville, GA to South Carver, MA. It needs to be shipped out sometime next week.
From a business with a forklift to a business with a forklift.
In my five ton you can hear the transfer case "air shift" putting the truck in first and reverse, but does not happen in any other gear unless it slips like fsearls said.
Building a slide out would be cool, but if It were me I would just look for an M934.
If you do decide to take on a project and build a slide out on your 109, make a thread and post A LOT of pictures!
I would recommend using the existing fuel pump in that spare tank to pump the fuel into your primary tank. I am adding dual tanks to my deuce and am doing exactly that. I am using a fuel selector dash switch from a 5 ton tractor to cut the pump on and pump the fuel to keep a factory look.

Yea I went through that thread post by post and a few others before deciding. I've actually talked to him on the phone and the other reason for doing that is so the bed would fit closer to the cab leaving a smaller gap, not being as long, and bringing the front axle a little closer to cut down...
Looking good! I just bought a 4x8 sheet of 1/8 metal for all my floor patches (had some rusty sections I had to repair as well) and it ran about $123. The only thing I'm now trying to figure out is how Im going to do my rear cab mount. I left the vent in mine and it actually put the mount on the...
