If you need a new rear differental PM me I have a line on some. If your not looking to mess around swapping out diffs grab a shaft from a bone yard and throw it in until you find the diffs you want.
I'm pulling the diff out of my 1009, it should be avaliable in a few weeks if your interested...
I've had a ride and I can tell you it's loud! My wife could here us over a mile away when we were on the brake going down a slight grade.
I've seen some you tube videos of trucks on jakes and they are no way even close to being as loud as this truck

I picked my daughter up from school in my 818, my son and I drove there and pulled up into the pickup lane. I had guys in pickups pulling their arms inside like they thought they would get ripped off with me driving by.

Looks great, if your worried about soaking the engine with the fan you can always switch to electric.
What type of lift is on your truck? (Height) What size tires?

Seriously, If your just looking to start it to seal the deal with the seller you should drain the oil's ( engine trans and transfer)and replace the filters, replace the batteries check...
I purchased two group 31's, for my m818 and didn't have a problem starting the truck in late January last year when I brought it home.
I followed the cold weather starting procedure on the dash and after about four turns she fired right up. I think if I would have had to repeat the procedure...
:ditto:Your limited in a m1009 for locations to install a second tank, i'd perosnaly rather see it mounted under the truck and away from any ignition point.
Also if your local motor vehical enforcement officer see's you doing this he may try to go after you for not paying highway taxes...
