I know what it is used for, but:
Is it military or just wearing military type tires?
What is the name/number of it so I can look it up?
Do they ever come up on GL for sale?
What is the weight carrying capacity of it?
Yeah David, so there...lol... Actually for hard parts like stove/oven, water heater, A/C and stuff that might be a real good place to look..
Dave, thanks for that used parts link, I found one in the next county over! I'll go visit just to see what they have that might be useful.
Really wish...
Forgot to ask... what sort of price range do the MEP-003's usually go for?
I found 3 coming up but they are mounted on laundry trailers. Not sure what I would do with the laundry equipment but the trailer (once cleared off) might come in handy. Anybody happen to know anything about the...
You know, I noticed that the first one I asked about was a "004" and it was "to big" (tom many phases).
The next one was a "002" and it was "To small" (not enough KW's).
I almost asked if there was a "003" that might be "just right" but I figured, no way, that would just make way to much...
LOL….. EXACTLY my first thought….
It seems to have worked brilliantly for you guys, I just might have to try the same thing!
I assume the tiedown fittings are cast? You just need to blast, repaint and install? I was talking about the compound curved sheetmatal pieces you had mentioned before...
Thanks guys!
It sounds like I would probably be better off waiting for one that is single phase.
I see a MEP-002A that is 1/3 phase (I assume that is switchable?) but it is only 5kw.
I would like to find one that is at 7.5 to 15kw. Don't really need anymore than that. Would just be wasting...
Can you back one of these trailers up without looking like a complete idiot?
I have never had the opportunity/need to even try to back up a 4 wheel trailer.
I can think of a couple cool projects for this trailer IF I could tow it and then back it up into a space.
At 11k empty it is pretty...
Quick question. I am looking at a MEP004A.
This is the electrical description: "120-480Vac/3Ph/50/60Hz"
The question is can/does this unit put out single phase as well as 3 phase or are these 3 phase only?
If they are 3 phase only, is there an external transformer or converter of some kind...
Yeah, I kind of like that but the pattern is way to small. Would need to make it MUCH larger. Or I guess I could use the standard design for the vehicle and just use those colors instead of the official colors. Might make the light color that looks white on my screen more of a grey though.
I...
Gee... not a real good sales pitch if you ask me... no wonder he turned you down.... LOL!

I like the "Blue Cammo" I'm just wondering if it was really ever used and if so, by who/where/when? - Not asking from the "Is it "Real" MV or not" point of view, more of a historical...
Not to Hi-jack this jack thread but....
Engine swap? Just replacing the old worn out stock unit or making a move to something new and cool? Will it need a Flux Capacitor???
New cab? Just a replacement for damage/rust reasons or something new and custom?
Inquiring minds want to know!
There appears to be a problem with the software the board uses. I was going to post the link for you as it is in the "Resources" section of this site. However, when I went to go to the resources (any of the choices) they all sent me back to the main listing op current postings.
The site was...
And as a bonus:
You have to store the locks someplace... Might as well be where you can easily find them and they will be right where you need to use then!
Very nice job on the build. You have me rethinking the decision to build a 1 piece very long "Straight camper". The ability to haul...
What a truly fantastic build. Truly inspiring. And just as impressive as the build itself is the cooperation of the pretty lady and her husband that are doing it. I'm jealous of that relationship! I mean how fantastic would it be to be able to have such a cool hobby that your life partner...
Hey...
Very nice build and very nice thread with lots of pictures.... But.....
Now that is has been a bit over a year since this project, any chance we can get an update on "Owner Satisfaction" and any issues that may have come up during use?
How much did the project end up weighing? (Empty)...
I hate "Search" as I always seem to get zero or 900 hits... aua but I "THINK" I found the thread. I hope this helps....
