We had a great time doing this today.
I'm fortunate we stayed dry. It rained the entire parade, much heavier towards the end. A good turn out of spectators despite the rain. Candy flowed with the water in the gutters.
Count me in next year.
I had some trail time at Haspin last week.
Steering feedback on rough dirt roads is still harsh. I got a nice friction burn on the back of my left hand from the steering wheel. Gloves would have been a better choice than the damper.
A second damper could be added but there would be increased...
I just put a set of 1100x20 Titans on my Deuce. They seem to work fine. I'm not aware of any negatives.
The 900's are 40.5" tall and the 1100's are 43" tall. That is a 6.25% increase. This would increase your speed from 52 to just over 55 at 2200.

Wire 2 most likely has a broken conductor within the insulation that was moved back into contact when you were moving the harness around to unwrap it.
If the wire shorted you would see the evidence.
The alternator output (wire 2) should have battery voltage on it as it goes to battery +. Wire 2 goes from the alternator to the starter solenoid where it is connected to the same stud as the battery + cable.

2. Two 1100x20 inner tubes.
3. A...
