Pulling the tires are easy. You just need to disconnect the hoses coming from the stud and then remove the lug nuts if it's simular to the m35a3 getting the drums off your on your own lol the ctis valves should stay with the tire and rim .
I replaced mine hoping it would fix my problem. But when I took the old 1 out it was like new inside. replaced the air governor . next im digging in to the unloader valve.
Air pressure issues . I'm still digging in. I replaced the air governer and check valves. But same issue. It won't build air over 60 lbs without reving up the engine. The compressor looks new. But it could be the nice paint job. I'm thinking the unloader valve on top of the compressor. Also...
I have seem that on the RMS trucks and believe they would do it at rrad to . I will say the rrad truck I have is a very tight truck as far as the cab is concerned. They did a great job on sealing them up. But mine had a few other issues I'm still working on.
I have a 2011 rrad rebuild. They did what they had to to get them functional. Some people have had issues with there rebuilds. Some say there great.
A medium tow bar with 1 inch pins should do the job .
If the engine was replaced the data tag on the injection pump should have a newer date...
If the engine was good they would just remove it and pressure wash it and put fresh paint on it. If I remember correctly only the 1s with major problems were replaced.
You need your fuel line to be connected from the check valve your attached to now by the oil pressure gauge . to the closest fuel filter can on that side. after you swap your cables you should hear your electric fuel pumps come on when you turn the switch. let the unit prim a good min before...
And your fuel system will never work that way ! the injector pump needs preasurized fuel to it. its not a suction pump. you need to use the pumps and filters in the gen system .
I agree with artisan. Most of the time people turn them off in the summer and forget to reopen then for the winter. There on the passenger side of the engine.
