    M916-920 Windshield wiper blades

M915 windshield wiper: civilian equivalent I looked at the NAPA item and it is a 14" long wiper. The M915 uses 18" wipers and it is their part number: WIP 601850 for $5.99 each. I can live with that. Jim

    M43 is home

I had a M43CDN for years. Should have kept it. Dang. Anyway, the interior was an off-white/creme color that was gentle on the eyes. Maybe the glare issue was why the Canadians chose that color. Or maybe some goofball just painted it whatever color they wanted. I had the heater and never even...

Auburn Vets Day Parade Nov. 10, 2012

Will do. The setup is a bit over 50' long and the turning radius is about one standard Safeway parking lot.

Welcome! There is a mil vehicle display coming right up near you. Saturday Oct 13 at the Puyallup Fairgrounds. It is at the Washington Arms Collectors gun show and we will have a bunch of vehicles there. I listed the particulars in the "Events" forum. Yes, the CUCV is a great rig. Cool, and you...

Puyallup, WA gun show and mil vehicle show Oct 13

Additional info: I've got 11 vehicles confirmed so far. Please pm me or just chime in here if you plan on displaying at the Oct 13 WAC show, so we can plan the display area. Again, this display is being hosted by WAC, itself. We do have some money to help defray fuel costs, but I can't promise...

Puyallup, WA gun show and mil vehicle show Oct 13

Plans are coming along nicely. It would be a nice touch for people to try and have some sort of a sign with the vehicle stating what year it was made, what conflict, if any, it was involved in, the general mission of the vehicle (deuce: general cargo and troop carry, etc) and any other fun...

    Deuce driver with gonads

I wouldn't own a new car, much less trust it for 1300 miles. I'd rather have something from the 60's and have Redbeardthezombiehunter ride along on the recovery. Guaranteed, we'd get there ok. Jim

    M915 trailering questions

I have a stock M915 and have towed a 35 ton Landoll 5th wheel a few places so far. I can tell you that in general, you will find way more pintle trailers out there than 5th wheel ones. 5th wheel trailers usually start at 35 ton capacity and go up from there. If you are just hauling 5 ton trucks...

    Rubber Track Pads.

Good luck finding any tracks. There are several rubber pad makers out there. They make pads for construction equipment. One is Scougal Rubber in Seattle. Be ready for a nuclear price tag, though. An alternative I heard about is to brew up your own with castable polyurethane, I think it was. No...

    M915A1, Truck, Tractor,gladhand

Better check to see if the lunette ring on the tow bar will drop over the pintle on the commercial semi. Might not, actually. I ran into that problem. Commercial semi's have smaller pintles than some military lunettes. I don't know the dimensions right off, but I got a big surprise, once. Hate...

    24 to 12 volt

Oops. I meant to say "periodically charge the lower battery", since you will be depleting the lower one more. With the lower ones showing less voltage, that means that the 24 or 28V that you charge the stack of batteries with will put more than half the voltage on the upper batteries. Yes you...

    24 to 12 volt

See Marlin P. Jones and Associates. MPJA - Power Supply, Power Supplies, Security Cameras, LCD, Fans, Etc. for several down-converters that take in 24 and put out 12. A "reducer" might be a resistor. If you have a constant load, that might work, but as the load varies, so does your voltage...
