I strtaed to post how I made one last night then a tranformer blew and it was total darkness. Long story short, I cut the box end off a 15/16" wrench leaving about 1/2" on. Then I welded a 10" long 1/2" drive extension on the box end of the wrench at about a 70 degree angle. I had to grind down...
Use the transfer case to start out in low range, go to 5th then shift t case into high and start from 4th gear. On big hills, I use low range 5th gear, keeps the EGT's down versus high range 3rd gear. If you encounter dirt lots or loose road/slippery wet roads, sharp turns should be done very...
Congrats! That was a very fast EUC approval. My first one took months. The next one you buy will only take 2 weeks at most, if you buy another one. Looks like you got a nice truck, enjoy!!!!!

Thats a funny story, I remember reading a similiar story a while back about a GSA or Gov liq. employee helping out when picking up a truck and there was an accident. Luckily nobody was hurt.
Looks great Kevin. I love your Chevy truck and am jealous of your side parking area. That would save me alot of money in RV storage. Get some pics with the new rubber mounted. What is that last picture supposed to be of? All I see is trees! [thumbzup]
I sprayed WD-40 on it then held the cable part with vice grips and slowly tightened it. Make sure you take all the adjusting slack back out on the incab adjusting handle so that you can start adjusting it again as it wears down.
Are machine guns legal every where except California? Seems like everybody gets to play with these things except us law abiding Californians! Even the gangsters get to have more fun. aua
Hey Bjorn, Do you have an axle pulled or the whole rear driveshaft removed? I'm waiting on a front hub to use as a cap for when I remove one of the rear axles.
