    Cylinder head wrench

I strtaed to post how I made one last night then a tranformer blew and it was total darkness. Long story short, I cut the box end off a 15/16" wrench leaving about 1/2" on. Then I welded a 10" long 1/2" drive extension on the box end of the wrench at about a 70 degree angle. I had to grind down...

    Safely towing an M35-How far?

Use the transfer case to start out in low range, go to 5th then shift t case into high and start from 4th gear. On big hills, I use low range 5th gear, keeps the EGT's down versus high range 3rd gear. If you encounter dirt lots or loose road/slippery wet roads, sharp turns should be done very...

That is more than enough for a duece cab except you need 110v to run it. Ive got a 15k btu in my 29' RV and it cools it off just fine.

    More MPG!!

Yep, just unbolt the 8 bolts, slide out the axle, bolt up a front flange or an old rear flange that has the axle shaft cut off, boom done! To put it back in you'll more than likely need to jack up that wheel so the splines can align in the diff.

    More MPG!!

On the subject of increasing MPG's, I just removed my rear most drivers side axle and used a front hub in its place. I havent driven it enough to measure MPG increase but it has a tighter turning radius and burns out very easily. I am going to work on an air bag/spring set up to transfer weight...

New Tires for the Desert Deuce

What's the secret for tightening the Deuce Park Brake cable?

I sprayed WD-40 on it then held the cable part with vice grips and slowly tightened it. Make sure you take all the adjusting slack back out on the incab adjusting handle so that you can start adjusting it again as it wears down.

Hey Bjorn, Do you have an axle pulled or the whole rear driveshaft removed? I'm waiting on a front hub to use as a cap for when I remove one of the rear axles.
