bought 6061 aluminum, cut to size, and am making a batch of centrifuge bowls
a couple standard 8 inchers, and a couple 9 inchers.....

do a search, alternators are categorized by a "lester #"
do an internet search for "LESTER 7197" it is a GM/Delco 24 volt, 65 amp alternator that has mounting tabs which are extremely close to the original deuce alternator, very minor wire mod, and about 115 dollars should get you one
nope, no good, gotta convert it all for a 12 volt system
those alternators appear to be an add on alternator to supply a 3rd stand alone battery for 12 equipment, in addition to the original truck 24 volt system, not as a replacement
thanks, I found it, it appears that the number 2 labeled wire is the charge wire from the alternator and goes to the starter solenoid to charge the batteries
when the truck is running i am getting no power from the alternator, cannot find a troubleshooting chart, it may be an internal...
i am also looking for the diagram, i have charging issues..... like not charging, and i have found a wire off..... labeled 2, in the starter area, it has a large ring, like it should go to the solenoid on the starter
