As mentioned, torque to the spec annotated in the tech manual. Hand tools may feel like it tight, 3/8" drive torque wrench is the charm, a little oil between the fitting and washer helps.
If you choose to use air pressure to separate the wheel halves, first set up a Go Pro camera to record the event. The recording will seal the nomination for a Darwin Award. Might even get Darwin Award of the year. Seriously, do not attempt
to use any air source.

What paper work does the current "owner" possess? Did he buy it from someone? Or, did he find it? I'm not up to date on NC motor vehicle laws; It may be able to be titled with a bill of sale once the VIN is verified clean. Several scenarios exist; then it may just be a parts trucks if not stolen.
That manuals at the other shop. Pretty sure the transmission is in "Drive" to turn the pump, transfer case is in neutral. Engine RPM is up to ensure flow and cooling, hence the transfer case in in neutral. I'll have to get the TM out for it .
