Both GAS and DIESEL are checked on the application chart for that pump. The application specialist I talked to on the phone gave me that one as one of the options to replace the E1074.
Everyone needs to know that the replacement pump is functionally identical but not mechanically identical. The fittings are 3/8" instead of 1/8". Adapters will have to be applied to make it work.
Summit finally canceled my order. I called Airtex today and talked to one of the technical folks. He said they were bought by Carter and all the Airtex parts were being "replaced" by Carter products.
He told me the closest pump going forward will be a Carter P74016. Its slightly higher flow but...
With the wiring you are describing its most likely the motors on the compressors.
Edit:
When I'm running in 115v mode on the 831 I also jumper L1 and L2 at the generator.
What is the wire size between the generator and loads? If you are running in 115v mode you'll need at least #10.
If you have a pretty fast volt meter with a high/low capture feature you can capture the voltage range at the AC unit and at the generator during a compressor start and see if you...
I recently ordered 3 and its been a back and forth of backorder shipping dates. They say they are going to send them as soon as they can get them. Right now looking at the end of this month. I hope they don't end up canceling the order. I need to replace a failed one now.

Go through the wiring on the machine and look for anything loose or disconnected. Check EVERY WIRE. I'm not...
That's my thought is there is a leak somewhere allowing the system to drain back into the tank.
Just for grins maybe remove and check the seals on the filters.
The hard lines should not loose prime. If they do you have a problem.
How much air air do you get out? If you crank longer will it start without priming it?
