No actually it's opposite lol . Most trucks have the air inlet for the air compressor tied in to the air filter tube . When they are set up this way it takes a good 6 minutes plus to build up air. The fix is to remove the plug from the intake manifold after cooler and connect the hose from there...

I'd come into MD on 83 and take it to 97 to 301 south over the Potomac river bridge into VA from there you could continue on 301 or get on 95 or the Richmond bypass .

Yes it's the outside housing is a heat sink. He could also be talking about the 3 wire mounts . If they were covered in mud it could short to the housing. The heat sink should be near air flow and be kept fairly clean to disapate the heat.they seem to be a tuff unit so far.
