Measure the length of the mushroom cap on your truck to get an idea, but I believe you would not want much less than 4" leg length. Nelson is the company that makes most truck exhaust parts, Part # NEL 89094A - $22.00. www.ryderfleetproducts.com

All truck parts dealers sell 4" ID/OD exhaust elbows in both long and short versions.

Check your 'Engine Stop' cable.....make sure that it moves the arm on the pump all the way back each time you push it in. Some times the cable will flex if it's rusted or not adjusted correctly at the clamp on the pump.

I'd change the oil and filters to see if there's any difference. I would also send out a sample of the old oil and have it analyzed. That will give you some additional insight as to what's goin on inside. Good luck......
