fuel adjustment questions
Ok. Got my pyro installed today. took me a few hrs to fabricate the bracket (did it old school style, No using the Bridgeport).
Anyhow I have questions about the fuel adjustment. My FDC is bypassed and the fuel adjuster has not been tampered with.
I see that 1300˚...
This just happened to me after replacing my airpack a few days ago. First make sure you do the bleeder on the airpack. just follow the line from the master cylinder to the airpack and the bleeder is just above it and about 2 inches forward.
Separate of that, the only way I was able to get...
Thanks for the info Eddiec.
Since you have a few years experience with WMO, what type of filtering are you doing to it before you add it to the trucks tank.
I just got for free today one of these. It is missing the top funnel but has everything else. I am just trying to think how i can incorporate this into a design.
Not sure if this will be a tank for clean filtered oil or will i use this in my collecting efforts or if this will be for the...
i was expecting mine to break and i was debating to either use some permatex or cut my own paper gasket.
I got lucky and didnt need to make that decision.
I figured since you all are talking about towing this is a good place to ask.
What is the p/n of the tow bar for a deuce and what is a good price to pay for one?
Hey DH, Thanks for chiming in.
Just after I posted this I tried to have the pressure bleeder pressured up and pumped the brake pedal at the same time.
I was able to get full pedal. I released the pressure from the tank and the pedal was solid. Seems like that got me over the hump.
i just rebuilt my airpack and went right by the TM (and i have the proper seals in the right place on the confusing part). I am having trouble getting a good pedal and i am still bleeding. I didnt recall seeing anything about "priming" the air pack with oil or fluid.
Am I missing something?
Interesting update. even tho i replaced some wheel cylinders in the past I filled my master cyl with Dot 5. I had a friend working the bleeders and i told him to purge until good purple came out as i wanted to pump as much new fluid in. I also told him to tell me if anything but purple came out...
ahh I saw this a bit to late. I just got it back together not more than 15 minutes ago without any o-ring lube. Nothing in the TM's about the lube, only lubing the seals with brake fluid. Oh well.... guess time will tell.
oh..... and that endcap gasket was fun (but i did it without...
my brakes started sticking, I could hardly move the truck. i had to crack the bleeder to release the pressure. I still dont know 100 percent if the airpack is the problem or the Master cylider, but i ordered this rebuild kit.
after seeing how gross this was inside i am glad i am doing it.
I remember a long time ago their was a video floating around the site that showed a yellow diesel truck that was stuck in a river hauling a trailer and he was able to drive the **** out of it and claw his way out.
anyone have a link to it?
