Not trying to hijack, I just found out about a M1010 minus drivetrain that I was thinking of using my M1008.

X3 on Joyce. Recently I arrived at the base to pick up the 08, and the base was closed because of snow & Ice. It was the buisness day, I thought I was goung to have a tough time but Joyce was GREAT!! She let me schedule two weeks later and had her happy face on when I got there.
Just a thought, anchor box speakers and anything else down!
Years ago I lost a friend who had speakers on the rear windo deck of his sedan. He was in a survivable head on accident and died from an injury to the rear of his head from the speakers flying forward.2cents
I have a new 4L80E that I got through GL (yes new in the crate!!) I have been thinking of using it behind a 6BT that I have for a project. It seems like the 08 may just get it instead. I already have a controller for it. Should be pretty straight forward now that I have a trans to tcase...
It's about ugly is what it is!! Luckily it just unbolts, I was relieved when I saw it was not welded.

Just used the Peel & Seal from Lowes this weekend on the old lady's 62 Falcon. Worked well, just make sure the surface is CLEAN and dry. Works great to show wich weather stripping needs replaced:-D
