Hey Mark, Congrats on the new life under the hood!! Cool ! Sounds like the switch may still be the culprit, not shutting down the fuel pump maybe there's a relay between the switch and pump??. Still thinking maybe a bad wire on the "start" position. Glad you got to hear 'er run!!!:grd:

Never jumped out of a plane and never owned a Deuce (driven plenty of them in the Army). If this was an offer to "all who would skydive once for a Deuce", I'd be in line! I'm still looking for the right "deal" for my wife so I can get a Deuce or 5 ton. I bought her a new truck this past year...

Here's the paint I found. It wasn't expensive at all ($10.99 a gallon at a local hardware store). I'm attaching the info on it from their website. According to this, all the guys who had questions about painting canvas on the deuces and 5 tons may want to try it. I'm not sure how well it's going...
