Welcome back--Isn't it great to have all these choices and the time to decide on what you want? It's always good to smell the roses as you travel towards your decision. Keep us posted.
Also the 395 Goodyear are rated for 68mph, not as big but maybe a good compromise. The 923's I've seen look pretty good. If you blow out a steering tire then it's time for the rodeo--hang on 'cause it's going to get hairy! Regards
One thing to consider is the speed rating of the tires. The Goodyear 395's are rated for 68 mph the others at 55. If you plan on driving at speeds over 55 and you have a wreak, you can bet the LEO's and lawyers will be looking at "possible" reasons for fines or lawsuits. Let's not give the...
I'll take the Goodyears anytime. They don't seem to road walk as much when you are on "grooved or rutted" paved roads. Granted the Michs seem better for all out off road but to me the Goodyears are the better "all around" tires. YMMV

Good catch Lee. I'm waiting on my 1984 M923 on the west coast that I should be driving back here to Abilene between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
SS is a great site for the dreaded OD Illness that never stops at just ONE.:)
Best Regards--Allen
Hello Neighbor--I'm up here in Abilene and I'm interested. Let me know what you want for the mount and I'll drive down and pick it. That way you won't need to ship it and I'll save the freight. Please PM me for further details if you want to make a deal.
Best Regards--Allen
GFreak--Good to see you had a good first visit. I'm a old retired UPS OTR driver and I've seen a lot of things that leave a bad taste in my mouth. But after reading this thread and other threads you have done, I would like to say "Sir, you have shown me someone who has a great work ethic, pays...
