Got to see it in person today (after cab swap & paint).
Truck looks GREAT !!!
I got a ride in it today Truck is AWSOME !!!!
Only disappointment was not being able to help with cab swap.
Thanks again Jeff
Now I want to see you pull my m989a1 around with it.
Ive got one. here in Texas.
You do need a truck bigger than a duece to pull it, like others have said.
I pulled mine with a 3/4 ton diesel, talk about the tail wagging the dog. I dont care to do that again.
The entrance is now down just west of national guard building.
Ask for a map when signing in, the gl lot is at the far end of the base.
Call to make an appointment, Miranda is real nice, unlike previous lady.
Check tires & bearing temps often. I pull them at 75-80mph (legal speed limit) all...
Sounds like you got the wrong kit :(
All of this style trucks rear cab mounts are
in between the frame rails.
Try looking at same body style truck
Without the pto setup.
It will give you a clear view of the body mounts.
The rear cab crossmember is the same on all trucks.
You are gonna have to unbolt the pto brackets from the stock crossmember to access the rear cab mounts.
Look closely there are about 8 bolts that hold the two together.
Don, I do appreciate the help but I dont see how im not getting fuel ?
The truck starts right up, I can hold the pedal to the floor & it will rev till I let off.
BUT as soon as the pedal is released it dies like you turned the key off.
I can hit the key & it fires right back up instantly...
