I have the m66 ringmounted on my deuce. I also found a cab support plate at Aberdeen'06 installed as well. There is a substantial amount of weight on the cab and there is a noticible shake of the spring mounted cab when driving with the cab top removed.
My dad used to put chains on his 61 Willys pickup when we plowed snow in NY. They were a pain to put on. I cannot imagine putting chains on the deuce! How often do you need them
its fresh water, we get deeper puddles when there is rain. The last time I went we were there during a hurricane. There was no shortage of water that day!

how deep do you plan on going? I have been in water up to the bottom of the front fender and over the top of the tires just below the air intake with out any ill effects with out a fording kit.
