Can we create a salvage yard reference guide, or something similar?

I think it would be a huge help.

Can we create a salvage yard reference guide, or something similar?

How would that work? Would it be seperate link and I type in a state? Or, would is be a stand alone list?

Can we create a salvage yard reference guide, or something similar?

I posted a want ad in the classifieds. I also posted a thread in the trailer section asking where I can find one. So far, no bites. I have the desire, just not the knowledge. I would not know where to begin with posting soemthing like that. Other than starting a list with all the states and...

Can we create a salvage yard reference guide, or something similar?

Those are great tools for locating part numbers. But I have question, if I am looking for a used part like in a salvage yard what good will the NSN number do? I can understand if I was looking for a new part, but I was looking for a used one becuase a new one costs too much. Also, what would...

Can we create a salvage yard reference guide, or something similar?

Wow, you guys really know how to get off track. First off, I did not know I could get free TM's. Second, the trailer I am trying to get a hub for is not even mine, and third I was looking for a used hub. The guy could not even tell me if they had any trailers, at all. I am into military...

Can we create a salvage yard reference guide, or something similar?

Not every one has a manuel for thier vehicles.

Can we create a salvage yard reference guide, or something similar?

That is one reason I think we need some kind of list. That way we know who to contact instead of wasting hours looking for stuff in the wrong place.

Can we create a salvage yard reference guide, or something similar?

I was thinking something that goes by state and lists the name of the yard and thier contact information. Maybe even what they specialize in. Some of the places I called this morning wanted the NSN number for the part. How the hell am I suppose to know that?

Can we create a salvage yard reference guide, or something similar?

If this already exists I apologize for not locating it. I am searching for a hub and I am now realizing that locating salvage yards that deal with this sort of stuff is tough. I do not look for many parts and have had no need to seek out salvage yards that deal in military parts. So I figured...

Where can I locate one of these trailer hubs?

It figures. I wish I had asked this question a couple of weeks ago. Then some one going to the Rally could have brought one down. I have seen a few bobbed deuces with this type of trailer body.

Where can I locate one of these trailer hubs?

Fleet pride here has the bearings and can get me the hub, but the cost is way too high. That is why I am hoping to find a good used hub. Even if I have to buy the internals new.

Where can I locate one of these trailer hubs?

I know a lot of thee trailers are getting cut up and used as beds on bobbed deuces. So I am hoping someone has the hubs lefts over. I only need on side and if the bearings are still good I will take them as well. I also need the hub nuts and washers from both sides. I am trying to get this done...

M35A2 - FLIPPING REAR HUBS TO SINGLE OUT A DEUCE.

I flipped the hubs on this truck because I had a complete set of stock tires for it. I decided to run the new directionals on something else. The truck looked stupid with the tires sticking way out. Plus, I think it looks better.

Yet another reason to hate singled directional shoed deuces.

I wish I had a big forklift. But then again, if I could afford one of them I could afford batteries.

    Landscaping with the Tugger

She does not like using the four wheel steer. She gets all confused when she does. It sure is funny. Chase was up on the tan deuce in the back ground. You can see him in a couple of photographs. Even he knew to get some where high and take cover. I guess we will have to take our diciplinary...

    now that looks better.

What if you had lock out hubs up front and a collor to disconnect the rear drive axle? I am sure that would help a bit.

    Landscaping with the Tugger

It did stand back up every time she backed up. Watching her face was funny when it did.

    now that looks better.

I did not think of the towing part. Hmm, I wonder how they would do with the towing I plan to do.

    now that looks better.

I would like them becuase they are taller, but not as noticeable.
