    1200R20 8 lug rims - from what?

Did you ever get them mounted on your deuce? Do Peashooter's adaptors work for these or did you make your own? Is the pilot hole big enough to allow the deuce pattern to fit inside with an adaptor? I have an opportunity to get some of these rims myself and don't want to waste my money if they...

    identity crisis

Hey all, First off. Yes I searched not only here but on the internet for couple of days. So if these have been identified before in another thread, I am sorry but I must have missed it. Now... Does anyone have an idea what these rims are for? They are 20 inch rims 10 bolt outer ring. It...

    Modern Tire size for M211

Original tire size for a M135 is 1100/20r. The M211 had the 900/20r tire size. The 1100s are 42 inches tall. I think the 900s I think are 38 inches tall, I think. If those tires are 395s estimate your top speed is going to be close to 60mph. It will be interesting to see how the old 308 handles...

When you say "modified" Peashooter wheel adaptors, how exactly?

    Modern Tire size for M211

Am very curious! I have been searching for A3 rims since I have one good one and 3 cut up ones. However there was a guy in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada who was selling MRAP rims Steel or Aluminum for 100 bucks a rim. I didn't jump on them due to clearance concerns. Insert image of me kicking...

    Modern Tire size for M211

Looks good! Does it look like you will have any issues with turn radius? I know the M35's have issues with the exhaust J pipe coming down in the fender well. The M135/211's don't have this scenario. I am very curious to know what the steering geometry looks like and clearance issues with back...

Contemplating a Bobber! To do or not to do that is the question!

Been a long time since I updated... Mind you I didn't have much to tell. LOL! Till now. I am getting stoked for my project again. I bit the bullet and sold off my Getrag 360 manual 5 speed that came with my cummins The cash I got from that got me a sweet deal on a medium duty spicer 5 speed from...

Here are some pictures of the ranch. I had to wait till it snowed a bit to cover the scars of the logging equipment going across the fields. Thank goodness it is only select logging and not clear cut. Hope this will tide you over for a bit, Plowboy. Of course you are always welcome to stop in...

The legend of the 50 dollar jeep is true!!! I talked to the owner and he said if I could get it out of his property I could have it. I said that was generous of him but I wouldn't feel right and wanted to pay him something. He said 50 bucks I said done. It is a cj3a. Just got out to look at it...

Metal Magnets's M211 teardown and future rebuild.

Mr. Metal Magnet!! I received your letter yesterday. That's was totally UN necessary. I was quite happy to help a fellow out. It didn't even cost half of what you sent. If I feel I am not going to need a part I am very happy to pass it on to someone who can. Parts are getting short on supply so...

I haven't had a chance to go back and look at that old jeep to find out it year and model number yet. In my research it seems the body style is a cja3 bit the windshield is from a cj2a? The cja3 had a single windshield glass where the cja2 had two. Either way it would be cool to fix up and...

    G749 preservation

I will try to take some pics this weekend and post em up. I found this gem close by. What do you figure. Is it worth trying to rescue or continue letting it hide in a field? Wish I could make out more on the data plates. I can't even tell if it was military or civy.

Time lapse video of my latest bobbed deuce build

Very cool! Especially since I don't think I ever saw a tape measure fly around once. I might be anal but I would to make sure everything was lined up 100 percent. Even a 1/4 inch out of alignment could cause big problems. Aside from that it's to bad you don't have a more slowed down version...

A crop of green in a field of green! Looks perty!! I would love to have the cannon to terrorize my neighbors with. The 1400 series tires would be nice to beef up my truck to!! I would take the shell to the local RCMP detachment for disposal. If your unsure about it and want to be safe it would...

Any Idea who made this steering Mod?

Hmm. Interfesting. If it is a loastar system it must be a newer steering box. The one on my 1600 looks different. Mine also doesn't have the (hydraulic ram) which I believe is a shock absorber to dampen steering shock on rough terrain. Or to help return steering to centre line. Way scary back...

mrap 50-50 offset wheels on a deuce

Nope will be losing two rear tires. That won't be an issue. Just don't want to lose any more of my already poor turning radius due to contact points.
